Hi, I'm audtioning soon to teach the beginner tap class at my uni, and wondered if anyone had any ideas as to what song I could use? Songs I normally use would probably be too fast for a begginer class, and I don't wantto use things from when I wasa beginner as they may be a bit childish (I remembe...

I like Lucys idea, it worked for me! Also I find that if I pick a certain bit on the wall to look at that helps, boviously you need a few different spots for when you turn etc. but I find this does help :) xx
In response to Tapper89 saying :- and all our lessons are done without music Do you find that a large group of peole tapping together over long periods of time have a natural tendancy to speed up? How do you deal with this? Fred I find this can be the case, but we tend to have one person, usually i...
I like Roch Valley Oxfords, I've had the same style for years now, and I find that they're really compfy, and make a really nice sound, but it does depend on the dancer. Also they seem to be a bit expensive compared to other ones, but I personally think it's worth it

I'm on the new committee for my uni dance society, and we're contemplating getting a ballet barre. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of what make/size etc. would be best, or ...
Hi guys, I'm on the new committee for my uni dance society, and we're contemplating getting a ballet barre. I think a costue can help get the idea of the dance across to the audience.

I've never done much lyrical, but from what I can tell, it seems that Ballet would help you gain the strength to do a lot of things you have to do in lyrical. It's never to late to start ballet, I know a lot of people who started when they started uni, so aged 18+! Sorry that's not that great an ans...
I've been dancing since I was 3, so 17 years now! Absolutely love it, can't imagine my life without dance! I do Tap, Ballet, and modern, and a bit of contemporary, am thinking of starting Belly, and Irish soon too!
