i think a costume is important because it makes a dancer look more profesional and makes a dance more interesting to watch

the only way i can think to help you is that when you are practicing your dance in class ask a friend or your teacher to shout your name everytime you look at the floor, this will get your attention and after a while you should become used to looking up instead of looking at the floor

your beats are like the music when you tap dance but i think what people mean is that your beats are the same a the music and that if listen to the song then you will know what step to do. i think music is important but i love the idea !

hey, im not very good at lyrical, infact im rubbish iv never done any ballet before in my life and 3 of my friends have and they are all good at lyrical. does doing ballet help you with lyrical or not ? and im 13 so would it be to late to start ballet ?

i think that lyrical is simi;ar to mod but slower and softer. its all about streaching and flowing with the music, most lyrical is floaty but there is also stronger lyrical, both must move with the music and the dancer must feel the music in side them

i agree with mazzy, i think a scarf would look lovely ! it would amost look as if the scarf is doing lyrical to because it would be floaty aswell !

me and three other girls recently did our grade 3 ISTD tap exam. i loved this exam as it has many fun exercises in it ! We all had great fun learning and practising them and we all came out with good marks !
