shoutbox?

hi
some forums that i have seen have a little box called a shout box where you can say hello or whatever when you log in or if somebody else is online, you can chat to them. i think they are a good idea if they don't take up too much memory space or somthing that like (i'm not very good at computors - sorry!)

Thanks for the suggestion Mazzy - yes, I am aware of shoutboxes and I will probably implement them at some point. However, I dont really think there is any point just yet - I want to wait until there are more members at the forum. The more members who join means that there is more chance of being online at the same time as someone else

EDIT - OK Mazzy, the shoutbox is working now, I am also working on a gallery and a games arcade - keep an eye out for new features

I like the idea of the shout box. It can be a good chance for the younger students to talk to each other.
